Proof-of-Doom on Trac Network:
For the first time in Crypto history peeer-to-peer multiplayer gaming + smart contracts - basically the entire stack - now run in one package (the app).
In our lab we were able to run classic Doom as a multiplayer experience on Trac Network, including smart contract interaction.
We will soon make it available for public as a fun experience and it will use TAP Protocol and $TAP to demonstrate "classic" Crypto applications...but it isn't limited to that.
Why this is important:
- No "air" gap any longer between smart contracts (on-chain) and game platforms + logic.
- Results + game rewards can provably be recorded right in gaming sessions.
- Same way this works for gaming, it works for other real-world applications, too.
What it enables:
- Consumer grade/real world applications.
- Integrated payment systems (web2 + web3).
- An entire new range of Crypto products the space has been locked out from for years.
- True p2p gaming directories, where creators can self-custodially distribute their games without middlemen.
Stay tuned!
Looks like we are starting with a solid 1,000 tx/s on the upcoming Trac Network, with plenty of room for improvements.
$trac becoming the gas token will finally unify what belongs together.
@tap_protocol validation the first utility.
@tap_protocol is pioneering decentralized finance (DeFi) directly on Bitcoin’s Layer 1, eliminating the need for roll-ups or Layer 2 solutions.
