@TKopelman I would see it as a probability problem, sale between 0-3, 3-5, and over 5 years. They will likely be better off in 2nd and 3rd scenario. The quests how likely is the sale imminent in 0-3 years.
@cperruna Chris, this performance emphatically validates Buffet forecast for markets at the time. Many are now saying that stock pickers market is round the corner. What do you think?
@AO_btc_analyst@TheShortBear Question - Does the minor breakout in early 2015 count, it was followed by breakdown. This seems more aligned with slight downtrend during that time. Am I missing something?
@anandragn Appreciate your thoughts. I have them all in my trading portfolio, except U, which I noted but missed. I like to use some fundamentals and technicals similar to you. Took a hit on CRWV lately. Decided that CRWV and NBIS have had a good run, changed to APLD recently instead.
@FareedZakaria "Despite higher median income, U.S. standard of living has fallen due to tax burdens, mandatory insurances, high healthcare costs, and inflation. Many struggle while benefits are unevenly distributed. #EconomicReality"
@SixSigmaCapital Thank you! I followed your trade and now want to stay longer. ๐
I am hoping dilution may not happen next week unless prices soar to $70-$80. MSTR seems to dilute at 2.5 times NAV. Tom Lee might want to follow a similar approach to avoid upsetting investors early on.
@TheOneLanceB Agree with you about United Healthcare as a company and US Healthcare system.
I have a hypothesis about higher costs, previously same individuals were being paid for in multiple states, which helped the insurance companies, so no reason to report. That rule has now been changed
@anandragn Indeed! We don't all need to converge to the same tone and messaging. Our unique styles is what keeps it real. Be nice if AI generated content could be flagged differently. Having said that I am not sure if X will be doing it, we might need to find smaller alternatives.
@SixSigmaCapital I might buy in at $200 as well, if it comes at that price. Unless government is moving to public healthcare, which it isnโt. A lot of fat being cut right now. Appealingly at $200 for its moat, assuming a reasonable PE at $13 EPS.
@ramahluwalia Love this post Ram. I also like the mispriced ones the most. I have taken advantage of a few in this list. However, in stocks particularly sometimes lack the conviction to follow through as I identify them. Perhaps due to the fact that stocks can stay irrational for longer.
@ramahluwalia Great explanation Ram, loved it. As you mentioned, these types of business are highly priced. How to value these, to determine mispricing. Would love a thread on that.
@OptionWell@PeterMallouk@OptionWell while you make a good point, and perhaps better for an investor not to be complacent. How does one time this possibility. I think some amount of non US exposure makes sense. What else could one do here?
