@petersteele@reddit_lies First experience in the field he says, this heavily implies he spent other days in training. Otherwise the distinction of in the field has no place.
@JoeSchlubb Ah yes, lets make our very first customer the one that's notoriously 30 years behind the technological times and drowning in regulation... truly brilliant idea. Maybe instead you should go after leaner more agile industries, just a thought.
@lowstakesdre@__LetMeinCoach Sorry I forgot to take into account how many losing tickets there are.... So really it's about 4x worse than what I said since I was just looking at odds of the 500k ticket from the pool of winning tickets. 1/260,000 or so vs 1/16,384 doing coin flips with better payout.
@lowstakesdre@__LetMeinCoach So roughly 54/3.7 million or roughly 1/68,500 to win 500k. Instead you could have plaid a coin toss at casino letting it ride. 14 wins in a row on $50 would win you 819k with odds of 1/16,384. Or if you wanted comparable odds as the scratch off you would win 3.2 million.
@CsTominaga@ComedyLond I genuinely can't wrap my brain around how this could be technically possible. My first and only reaction is to say bullshit that's impossible. But I am excited and fascinated to be proven wrong. I hope this isn't just semantics around the specific instance (tx) vs the content.
@Airborneenvy@_andrewthecoder From their perspective they probably see someone who is used to running things, being their own boss, etc. And that will probably just cause a bunch of friction with existing management. They don't want to hire an employer they want to hire an employee...
@Halo_chains Your fake story has a bunch of inconsistencies you sent him to the cafeteria with a note, but then speak like you were there as well as saying the lunch lady looked at you. Hard to keep things straight in your imagination.
@patrickDurusau@Tironianae Easy, No God can not. But this doesn't invalidate the qualities of God like you presume it does. Can Infinity produce a number larger than infinity? No, and this doesn't refute the concept of infinity. This is understood behavior for anyone intelligent and honest.
@ConserArmenians@PickledCalamari@KILLTOPARTY You were good enough for her that night, but since then she had 10 other DMs and thought she could do better so she ghosts you. She will continue trying to upgrade until she hits a guy too good for her that ghosts her, then wonder why she is habitually single and alone.
@Linahuaa This isn't new, it's been this way for thousands of years yet one group continues to beat the others in every metric. Being turbo autistic isn't enough.
@OvereactingMark@IterIntellectus Until the amount of people who press red in a real world situation is significantly larger than your pole because there's a real consequence to it and not just virtue signaling and then you end up dead.
@OvereactingMark@IterIntellectus People act like pressing red is killing people. Pressing red is available to everybody everyone can press it everyone can live. The only people dying are the ones pressing blue which is essentially committing suicide. I'm not morally obligated to gamble my life to save theirs.
