I hope at the reunion they make a montage of every time Anthony talked shit about Spicy (like when he told Tola he didnโt trust her weeks ago) and Spicy talking shit about Anthony (her telling Todd he would need to put him up because she canโt, and with Avery too) #BBCAN12
@vyc160 Fair enough, quality definitely matters. But radio stations have a lot of power in what music is widely known by average Canadians, and Canadian artists are disproportionality impacted by an industry that favours American artists. Quotas might help to level the field? #mus2011
@sskinner9712 This is a practice already observed by our school's radio station, @CHMRnews, they have a quota to ensure they are promoting local music. I agree, I think American's overload the music industry and it creates an unequal playing field. #mus2011
@sara_carp It is so important to have these images for young boys and girls to see important men feeling free to express emotions such as crying. It's healthy and allows for this type of soulful creativity! #MUS2011
@danielcrewe14 Agreed - I have a love for that song, until I hear the words "She knows a woman's place Is right there, now, in her home" ....some lyrics don't age well :/ #mus2011
@kaitlin_mugford I agree! But they also close us off from socialization. Where before someone might spur up conversation to their bus neighbor, now both passengers sit silently listening to music. #mus2011
@TylerPenton4 The price difference is incomparable! Before, you could only own as much music as your basement wall-cabinet could store. Now, the entire history of music is at your disposal for a low monthly fee. #mus2011
@APAUL987 I agree! Music is supposed to be about art and creativity, as long as you credit the original why not get your hands dirty with an old beat?! It often engages younger generations into older music, creating an opening for people like Bruno Mars to b successful with a 70s influence
@Kyle40684036 So true! And many artists that claim to be feminist or "woke", like Beyonce, promote capitalist motives that are the antithesis to feminism.
