كان "حزب الله" منذ تأسيسه في مطلع الثمانينات من القرن الماضي ولا يزال حتى الآن جزءاً لا يتجزأ من مؤسسات الجمهورية الإسلامية، على غرار "الباسدران" و"الباسيج". ايران رعته بالعقيدة والمال والسلاح وكل أشكال الدعم الأخرى، على غرار بقية مؤسسات ولاية الفقيه.
مع أن تركيبته البشرية تعتمد بغالبيتها الساحقة على اللبنانيين من الشيعة الإثني عشريين، لم يتحوّل يوماً حزباً لبنانياً. هذا خطأ. بقي هذا الحزب ايرانيّاً. ولكنه تمكن من اختراق الحياة السياسية اللبنانية بقوة، وعبر مراحل، بسبب غياب مؤسسات الدولة اللبنانية، أو ضعفها، وبسبب الفساد المستشري في أوساط الطبقة السياسية اللبنانية�� والطبيعة المذهبية والطائفية للنظام السياسي اللبناني.
لا ينفي ذلك حقيقة أنه يمثّل شرائح عريضة من مكونات المجتمعات الشيعية اللبنانية!
وهذه مفارقة.
