A large birthday banner installed on a foot over bridge at Teen Haat Naka on the Eastern Express Highway in Thane suddenly collapsed, narrowly missing several vehicles below.
The banner struck a motorcyclist on the head, but no major injuries were reported. The incident has raised questions over who permitted the installation and whether safety norms were followed.
Location: Near Aarey Bhaskar Ground, Goregaon East , Mumbai-65
I request BMC to conduct an immediate inspection of the road work, verify the quality of construction, compliance with safety standards, & take corrective action against any irregularities found.

Kinda crazy in how many ways @AdityaDharFilms's Dhurandhar reminds you of @RGVzoomin's Satya:
Hamza landing in a new place (Satya coming to Mumbai)
Hamza winning over Rehman (Satya befriending Bhiku)
Jameel using Rehman for votebase (Bhau using Bhiku to win elections)
Hamza taking over after Rehman's death (Satya taking over after Bhiku's death)
Hamza keeping Yalina in the dark about his true identity (similar to Satya and Vidya)
and then there's that one scene which is probably a straight nod to Satya: Rehman shows off a weapon from his shop to Hamza by open firing next to where Donga and gang are eating, startling them... and Donga says something along the the lines of "kya Rehmanbhai?"
...very similar to the scene where Bhiku shoots a tied, brutalized man after interrogating him while Kallu Mama is eating sitting right next to him. The bullet flies real close to his ear!
Probably there's more:)

Why did Mr. Chaitanya Usha Laxman Patil have to undertake a foot “Rasta Satyagraha”? Please read this once.⬇️
On the Mumbai–Goa National Highway within the limits of Raigad, Ratnagiri district,
as per on-record information obtained through RTI,
between 2011 to May 2025,
the number of innocent citizens who lost their lives is approximately Raigad - 1125 ,Ratnagiri -944 , Sindhudurg 😰

This figure reflects only the officially recorded cases.
Have you ever thought about how many deaths remain off the record?
What about those who suffered serious injuries,
those who passed away days later,
and those who were left with permanent disabilities?
Who bore the cost of their hospital treatment?
Who rebuilt the shattered lives of their families?
There are many more unanswered questions…
but for now, this much is enough.
Today, I am walking.
I am showing the administration the potholes and dangerous spots,
and clearly telling them —
👉 please do this work today,
👉 so that innocent lives can be saved tomorrow.
For 29 days, walking 490 km on foot,
I suffered pain and hardship.
so that not a single innocent life is lost in the future due to pothole-ridden roads,
this Road Satyagraha continues.
Regards 🇮🇳🙏

No matter which government comes to power
as responsible citizens, doing work for the good of society and consistently following it up is our true duty.
A life-threatening pothole has been filled with a temporary patch by the authorities,
but the fight does not end here.
Let us continue our united follow-up as citizens until the National Highway is built to the highest standards.

Road looks smooth but suddenly a pothole.
That’s the silent killer.
One unexpected pit can take a life.
This march isn’t stubbornness.
It’s a mission to save citizens lives.
Every pothole tells a story of
pain, negligence & loss.
I walk to end those stories.
