If you do and they did not achieve at a “lesser” school then were they actually deserving of that slot and passed over? No!

The correct implication (by Dr. Todd) and inference should be that scientific positions change based on more and evolving data (i.e. use of scientific method) to provide more factual basis to either support or pivot away from the original position.
