Spend 10 years working relentlessly, studying day and night to become a doctor…
only to one day face assault inside a hospital by unruly and influential people over trivial issues.
This has become the harsh reality in many government hospitals across the country.

Doctors already work under extreme mental stress, exhausting 36-hour shifts, sleep deprivation, and limited resources. On top of that, the lack of security has left them constantly vulnerable and unsafe.

What is even more disappointing is that whenever strict protection laws or institutional safeguards for doctors are discussed, even some people from within the profession influenced by bureaucracy or appeasement hesitate to support them openly.

★The result: junior doctors continue to face violence, threats, false allegations, and harassment on a regular basis.

The real question now is -What is the solution?

Until hospitals have mandatory security systems, strict healthcare protection laws, immediate non-bailable action against violence, and a united medical community, these incidents will continue to rise.

Train is running 2 hrs behind schedule.
Since I boarded, I have received neither dinner nor breakfast from the pantry. Apparently they don't provide it for this trip. @IRCTCofficial

What’s happening in Aligarh Muslim university , JNMC with their doctors ?

The Mob beats two resident doctors of AMU brutally inside their own hospital till they bleed not even sparing lady doc and when they went to protest against this barbarism with them the Proctor of AMU suspended the doctors who went to protect them with FIR filed against them .
Instead of acting against the culprit mob the AMU administration threatened their own doctors .
Not even a single senior doctor or superintendent of hospital supported them and local news published the names of doctors publicly as if they are some criminals .

Attacking a govt doctor on duty is punishable offence under Section 3(2) , Section 3(3) and are non bailable but did the AMU administration followed the law ? No !
