Happy 1st Birthday #LusakaAgenda. To celebrate, @Clare__B has pulled together a fantastic thread capturing what's happened over the last year to implement this important agenda, with so much more to come.
Today’s #UHC day marks 1st anniversary of the launch of the #LusakaAgenda, which outlined 5 key shifts to shape the evolution of GHIs and the broader global health financing ecosystem.

We are very lucky to have Gemma on rotation to the Policy Team as part of @wellcometrust’s graduate scheme. Not only is she doing fantastic policy work, we are also benefiting from her incredible baking skills. Today it’s the #SDGs in biscuit form! 🤯
“Multiple sources with knowledge of discussions underway told RPN that with the amount of funding UKRI is already legally committed to next year, a budget squeeze of £1bn could force the agency to stop all spending on new grants in 2025-26.” https://t.co/C4W0rPrmQx
Huge thanks to @wellcometrust for this renewed & scaled-up support as WHO elevates climate as a top health priority!

What keeps @mirandarwolpert up at night is how we get mental heath solutions out at scale and in an equitable way. The launch of the Coalition for Mental Health Investment at this year's @ClintonGlobal is a significant step forwards.
Huge thanks to @DrTedros and his fantastic team for today's strategic dialogue between @WHO and @wellcometrust, exploring how we can ensure science unlocks #HealthForAll.
Pleased to welcome @jarottingen and the @wellcometrust team to @WHO for a strategic dialogue as we partner to promote, protect and provide health based on science.
We are grateful for their continued support and financial contributions to WHO's work in emergencies, climate and health, mental health, antimicrobial resistance and many other shared priorities.
Together, for #HealthForAll!
The declaration of the #mpox PHEIC by @WHO is an important step in ensuring a commensurate response is rolled out to contain this outbreak as rapidly as possible.

This is such deeply sad news. It has been a joy watching Lea do such brilliant things for mental health research as CEO of MQ. He's going to be hugely missed and my thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of MQ’s CEO Lea Milligan who passed away following a sudden illness on Monday the 15th of April.
Our thoughts are with Lea, his children and family as well as his many friends and colleagues.
