@jsidman Great reporting.
I also remember when DC actually licensed food truck zones (during the height of craft food truck craze), and thought the Park Police/NPS could license the areas on the side of the Mall right in front of the Smithsonian metro.
@maustermuhle I definitely took a pro-McDuffie poll on Tuesday--there was a question along the lines of "JLG voted for harsher penalties, does this make you more or less supportive of her," without the accompanying anti-McDuffie question.

@joe5f6@bigbearcafe I didn't say that I did not like Big Bear! I said that that I didn't like the noise emanating from the place! Neighbors deserve to have peace, quiet, order, and a good quality of life!
@s8mb This was a super fascinating. Major props to @nithin_vejendla. I realize @wmata covers three states but curious if y'all looked at DC's 2025 consolidation of bus stops (specifically eliminating those within 600 feet), and how that impacted average closeness.
This is far worse than anything said in a college group chat, and the guy who said it could become the AG of Virginia. I refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence.
