in 🇧🇷 70th percentile of income is 2x minimum wage (R$ 12k/yr). not a very comfortable life. plus violence, bad public services, low income mobility.

in us, 70th percentile earns ~$80k/.

love my country, but unfortunately, deeply unequal.

@jefielding If no investors were taking these no-PR deals, lawyers would not recommend.
Seems more of a symptom of a funding environment that favored founders, than a cause.
Alternatively, would guess advice will change now that fundraising winds have shifted.

@lucaslameiras honestly, these number must change wildly depending on where you draw the line for the city + what types of homes get counted and which don't. hard to imagine that the avg home in Rio is ~20% more expensive than in SP.
