To better understand marine mammal bioaccumulation of legacy and unregulated CP and dechloranes we correlated with legacy POPs in multiple species from the Norwegian coast.
Surprising lack of overall correlation to relative trophic position.

This is the third paper in Silje’s PhD, which is close to finalized, and part of our RCN project #MULTICLIM - Effects of climate change in a multiple stress multispecies perspective.
Great collaboration with Kees van Gestel @VUamsterdam@forskningsradet@biovitenskap
So excited to share this paper!
Silje Marie Kristiansen did a tremendous job, with long hours herding, counting and measuring thousands of springtails and eggs to understand
how thermal adaptation affects temperature-dependent pesticide toxicity
