@Anokcraft Hi! The setup here costs roughly ~0.3 ms cpu. I’ve been prioritizing visual response, will optimize and post stress test for this.
To scale to many bodies in scene, I think the inner anatomy can stay paused until exposed, then throttle or sleep as move farther away or settle.

WIP — Soft Body Simulation
The upper torso features physically driven deformation, letting the organs move and react individually while staying anchored to the surrounding anatomy.

We did a deep dive into the 'Dissectible Anatomy' project from Purdue University professor Tim McGraw, which uses position-based dynamics and volumetric splats for deformable models.
It won an Audience Choice Award at SIGGRAPH: https://t.co/zE9TjgxYxK
Couple days ago, I posted my Gore System progress on Reddit and got some questions about it. I answered them in the comments here:

Been working on a gore system.
WIP — Works like a localized projector—bullet impacts reveal tissue layers progressively.
In the future, I’d like to extend it with deeper layers such as the inner skeleton and organs.

@caramelo_gs heyy, appreciate it! got a whole roadmap planned for this system, but time's pretty tight with my day job.
I’m gonna grind on the skeleton pass this week and hopefully post an update soon!
