#Arsenal have finished 2nd in the league, since 2015/16 season, and that is reason enough to be proud of.
Despite the obvious feeling of hurt, what's different this time though, is that the majority of this squad that has finished 2nd in 2022/23 is 'unfinished' and can grow. ❤️
Liverpool allowing that banner of Mikel into the stadium and their fans booing Trent the way that they did tells you all you need to know about them. Talk a good game but their true colours come through from time to time. It’s insidious.

Ahh man, so disappointed about yesterday, I think we did so well in a tough game, lots of pressure on us after hearing the Liverpool result, got ourselves in front at half time and then it felt great at 2-0. We were in control.
But again, I know we’ve been pushing everything on to needing a Striker to make the difference which I’ll come on to but at 2-0 I’m afraid our defending as a team gifted Villa 2 goals really. Ok we never had Big Bill Saliba but we had two moments yesterday that cost us, Merino switched off momentarily to let Tilemans run past him to get Villa back in the game and Partey who I think was having his best game yesterday (while playing at right back) decided to step up and leave Watkins a free hit on goal from 6 yards. You can’t win title’s with elementary mistakes like that I’m afraid.
Apart from those 2 moments i think the boys were superb given the schedule and big games we’ve played in the last 4 weeks. We’ve been amazing and we deserve more, on effort.
I think this draw that felt like a loss proved one thing, and it was underlined yesterday in the Liverpool game. At the start of the season, I and most of us, I think thought we had strengthened our squad to a level that we’ve given ourselves a better chance to win the PL this year. And I know we’ve been unlucky with injuries and refereeing decisions etc so far but you look at our bench yesterday, compared to Liverpool’s, or even Villa. They were able to affect the from the bench, to ‘power up’ when it’s required, with players that can make that difference.
Liverpool, brought on Darwin yesterday, a natural Centre Forward who knows where to attack, knows where to stand to finish chances and he got them the win and maybe to the day that Liverpool fans really do now feel that they have the title.
I believe in Mikel Arteta, I think he’s already one of the Worlds brightest coaches, but it’s time for the Club to roll the dice, Arteta maybe can’t get his first choice Striker in January but I remember Fergie when he brought Henrik Larson one year in January, he also wasn’t his first choice but he came in and made the difference and got them over the line to win the PL. Fergie got his ‘wish list’ Striker the next Summer and you know how that ended up.
Let’s hope we can do the same, there is time. We have a fantastic football team, a fantastic team of coaches too, there’s still a lot to play for and I for am not giving up yet, I hope the guys who right the cheques feel the same as me.
Back him, not sack him, like some fans would prefer.
Sources claim Trump shit himself in France leading to nobody wanting to sit next to him, unable to verify or debunk the claim. No official statement denying it from the incoming Trump regime, so far.
Turns 70 last week – probably realised he’s into his final chapter in life – and now returns firmly into his roots as an artist, if not already. Welcomes feedback and criticism, doesn’t consider himself as an epitome of perfection.
Class is permanent. His art is immortal. ❤️
Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling has arrived at Arsenal’s training ground as all parties work to finalise a season-long loan deal.
The 29-year-old attacker is set to spend the 2024-25 campaign at the Emirates Stadium having been told he has no future at Stamford Bridge under new head coach Enzo Maresca.

Southgate with another tournament where the pundits will say he’s done a good job but there isn’t a single victory or performance of note that’s above the bare minimum for this level of talent. Get rid. Move on.
Everyone has had to accommodate Foden in this team.
—Kane playing without his signature runner
—Jude Bellingham forced to play LW
—Saka has been forced to play wingback
All for nothing. A tournament wasted on proving a 2nd-tier talent.
When your captain is a serial loser.
You prioritise your worst attacker all tournament.
You barely use the likes of Palmer.
This is exactly what you deserve Gareth.
This is a win for flair. This is for attacking football. This is the most goals ANY team has ever scored in Euros history. Invincible. 7 straight wins to become a champion. Croatia, Italy, Germany, France, England. Are there any other big teams left to defeat?
Historic. #ENGSPA
