@sama@nadzi_mouad This is a big wakeup call. The government is not permitting these models to be used my non US citizens. Period. Enforcing that is going to be crazy hard especially in enterprise and that means we may not see these models come back for awhile.
@appltrack It's the market. Those components and products have gone up in value. There are people flipping products they bought just a week earlier. Not saying it's right, but it's capitalism.
Well, you can't afford a new computer because the AI industry is using all of the world's RAM, but at least you can't use the AI either because Big Brother says no.

@jpschroeder You are right. There is no way the government will allow us access to open weight models at the power of Fable and that is likely less than 6 months away. But that is what the dark web is for I guess. Rev up your VPNs and torrents boys.
This question keeps coming up. A bit of research you will find plenty of competition and options to purchase if you desire. But none of them really work without good content up front. And yes I have been building one too, but have since put it on hold due to saturated market.
