@ProspectsUsmnt Why why are we looking at this in any other lense than COLLEGE sports. Send them to soccer academies in Europe and let Americans have access to scholarships/ college.
@letsallsoccer@1TaylorRobinson Excepting when they are 75% off teams they arenβt hurting American competition. Because you know, Americans have to be on the team.
Worth two minutes of your time to hear Jimmy Rogers lay bare one of the main ills facing big-time college sports and the athletes themselves.
Iowa State Daily's @henry_annen asked Rogers what he needs from new AD Jared Benko to elevate Iowa State football.
Good stuff.
@flatland_sports It did. Then the NCAA allowed NIL and OSU UM and IU spent a small nations GDP to compete. ( Tbf OSU didnt need to they are a good program)
@danflowe@Coachhedge Youβre the problem. Youβre tired of your team losing and youβre fine with perpetual change so as long as you can feel involved. Low character tbh.
@thedlen85@MichaelWBratton Considering conf. CS games are no longer, idc if we played 12 or 6 conference games as long as the games played are quality opponents. The average SEC team is effectively playing AT LEAST 1 more competitive game per year than the B10.
@thedlen85@MichaelWBratton It is not the case for every conference. The B10 as of now has 3 teams winless in conference and 5 teams with -.500 records. The SEC has 2 teams winless in conference and 2 teams -.500. The B10 effectively has 3 GA St. in their conference.
@BamaYoutube Eliminate zone and counter runs and utilize duo and combos from center and guards. For whatever reason we love long developing run plays in a conference that has been known for aggression and speed
@thedlen85@MichaelWBratton Not math, meth. And youβre smokin it. Blue bloods in the B10 will sit out starters to rest (ref. Downs comments on SEC vs B10) while the SEC canβt, thus increasing competition, injury, and loss probability with in the SEC. He really hand cuffed yβallβs argument.
