When I was in Minneapolis, I heard a number of crazy stories. But near the top of the list:

A couple of off duty ICE and CBP officers were going to dinner in Minneapolis. They were doxed and their location revealed, and the restaurant was then mobbed. The officers were locked in the restaurant, and local police refused to respond to their pleas for help (as they've been directed by local authorities). Eventually, their fellow federal agents came to their aid.

This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement. They have created the chaos so they can have moments like yesterday, where someone tragically dies and politicians get to grandstand about the evils of enforcing the border.

The solution is staring everyone in the face. I hope authorities in Minneapolis stop this madness.

This argument is just entirely fake, for two reasons.

1) In the Obama administration, they counted being turned away at the border as a deportation. A person would show up, be sent back, and counted as a deportation. We have to do deportations from the interior of the country because Biden and Harris let them walk in.

2) In the cities that are not sanctuary cities, the deportation process is orderly and normal--like most law enforcement. In Minneapolis and a few other sanctuary jurisdictions, local jurisdictions and a few leftwing agitators have decided to wage war on all immigration enforcement officers.

They are hoping that a little chaos will convince us to give up on immigration enforcement. They are wrong.

There is no universe where ICE could ever be ideologically hijacked by the Left because the agency exists to defend the particularity of American identity, culture, and sovereignty.

In other words, ICE’s mere existence stands to thwart the Progressive dream of a post-national world, which is why the Left is so hell-bent on destroying it, even to the point of deploying their own foot soldiers to engage in violent confrontations against ICE officers.
