@TruUKFan What the fuck was that? How can they reconcile such an early stoppage when guys take 20 and 30 punches in a row and get asked to defend themselves repeatedly until finally stopping the fight? Retreating is not a defeat. Not defending yourself is a defeat.

@mrsmmacasual To use this guy who has clearly been washed for several years now, likely has CTE in some capacity, and is trying to be a provider for a large family, as a set up for other retiring fighters is a bit cruel & a stark reminder to young fighters: The UFC will use you up completely.

@mrsmmacasual I totally agree. I don’t think the UFC should be picking & choosing which “fan favorites” should be considered important or iconic to us. Niko provided some of the most exciting fights in the division for over a decade and was must see television for many years win or lose.
