17 aid workers were trapped inside their charity’s office in Muttur, near Trincomalee. Every one of them wore the ACF emblem. The office was flagged and marked. The security forces had been told exactly who was inside.

Sri Lankan Naval Special Forces, police officers and a Home Guard burst through the door.

They lined up the 17 men and women, who were still wearing their charity uniform, forcing them to kneel.

Then they executed them all, shooting them dead at close range.

The whole incident lasted less than 5 minutes.

Twenty years on, not one person has been charged.

This footage was made by @ACF_France. The charity left Sri Lanka after the massacre. The men who did it never had to.

No justice. No peace.
