@TraderJonesy I think it’s more relevant when considering Warsh taking over next week. The avg 3 month drawdown in the S&P after a new Fed chair takes over is around 12%.
@Robbiedukie@brian_armstrong Sure they can. But if the US doesn’t set the standard from a regulatory standpoint as the crypto leader due to infighting, another country will. It’d result in capital flight in my opinion. Big investments are ready to be made, pending this bill passing.
@Mazeboy4 Pierre is the only guy in the front 7 that’d cut it 5-10 yrs ago. DL and LB’s too undisciplined on gap responsibilities, take bad angles, and just soft in general.
@TimBrando@GORILLAMAMBA@AlabamaFTBL@SEC@CFBPlayoff@NDFootball@CanesFootball “Bad” Auburn team, at night, in a rivalry game, who’s worst loss of the yr was 10 pts to UGA. Thought you knew ball. Tonight’s performance was bad, but if the regular season number 1 team in the SEC is left out while others sat at the house, Sankey should abolish the SECCG
@DaveHcontrarian I’ve listened to quite a few of your interviews. It seems as if you think precious metals could likely top soon after the stock market. Do you think SILJ will be immune in that scenario and continue to rise with silver if the stock market tops prior to silver?
@leadlagreport Needs to happen. Even after today, the Russell is still down roughly 4.6% on the year. S&P and Nasdaq in the green for the year, but barely.
@leadlagreport Flat the last 2 yrs, so down in real terms. The big pop where I live was in ‘21-‘22. Probably rose 30% those 2 yrs. after more of the typical rise the yrs prior. LCOL area with good schools, good business climate, and some tourism. Dropped 30-40% here during housing crisis.
@BowTiedBroke Better question might be who pays out on claims without hassling you. I’ve got SF and noticed the same thing, but they paid out on accident I was in yrs ago without batting an eye, which is worth a premium IMO. Heard a few horror stories with other insurers not wanting to pay.
@DaveHcontrarian@VladVasilevich3 @DIMI51082 @cheesecakephord David, in your overall analysis, I realize many pieces of information feed in to your overall conclusion. Knowing the various inputs can change, is there anything that consistently carries the most weight out of information you gather to form your overall opinions?
@biopharmacaster@FeldtInvesting I just pulled that one because it was the same timeline on the annual calendar. There are other examples, but also ones in which an opinion isn’t given at the end of the meeting/day after. We’ll see soon enough.
@FeldtInvesting@biopharmacaster See Fruquintinib, just as an example that I pulled. At the April 22-25, 2024 meeting, they were in the same oral explanation slot. April 26th they got a positive recommendation.
@jfais20@Javier944712106 One thing to keep in mind is the Euro. It’s gained 10% vs the USD since the leak on 2/11. Any Eurozone company is getting better value by the day. A hypothetical $6b deal on 2/11 now only costs $5.4b.
