@F1Ruaraidh @niccruzpatane@Tesla I seem to remember my mate's Dad's Vauxhall Cavalier doing this in the 90s if you held the key in the lock position...
Hi @EngineerLondon - wondering if you had any insight on the maintenance work that appears to be being done where what (I think) is the Uttoxeter-Willington 132kV line where it intersect the A515: https://t.co/LCIBEEoi6p - big scaffold towers involved!
@sainsburys I understand you have tech issues - that's fine, stuff happens - but don't take the site offline, then bring it back long enough to get half-way through an order and take it down again. TWICE. I hate shopping at the best of times 😆
@Gammitin Screen-down makes sense from a physics perspective, but remember that as these things age, bits of phosphor can get blasted from the inside of the screen and end up distributed around the tube. Transporting face-down can cause bits of it to drop on to the screen and leave marks.
Hey @greentheonly does Tesla encode dying gasp crash footage with timecode? Reminds me of SMPTE but doesn't look quite the same and is at the bottom of the frame. Never seen that before... https://t.co/H6PcXkwb8u
@WeAreRSGroup Given the shadows appear parallel, I shall assuming the light source is infinitely far away, therefore the shadow on the floor contributes (2/3)*6=4m, plus a linear 1:1 scaled 4m on the vertical wall, giving 8m.
@IAMRoadSmart Been fully electric for the last seven years. Really a non-event now. Does it work for everyone? Of course not, but those it DOES work for should be driving an EV.
@f01re Maybe. I think he's had a somewhat concentrated dose of real life and, finding it contrary to how he's imagined it and failed hard at substituting his reality for it, wants to quit petulantly without looking like he's quitting petulantly. I'd be amused if Twitter was his undoing.
@f01re Conspiracy brain is just saying he's using public sentiment to allow him to install a scapegoat such that he can go "See? Not my fault!" when the real flames start.
I'm losing my fucking mind. ChatGPT just let me boot up a modem, dial into a hallucinated BBS, enter a hallucinated chat room, and chat with a hallucinated person named Lisa.
