Despite advances in digital filing, many IRS processes still rely on outdated systems, including paper-based workflows and even fax machines. The result is delays, backlogs and ongoing uncertainty for small businesses trying to stay compliant.

PEOs help bridge that gap on the employer side by providing modern systems, improving accuracy and creating more efficient, reliable processes—even when external systems have not kept pace.
