@gutstringtheory @AaronWardDene I don’t believe there is evidence that suggests forcing people to drink in bars & clubs or at home reduces overall alcohol consumption or the social impacts of alcohol

That model works very well in the UK and throughout Europe, where friends commonly have a casual glass of wine throughout the summer months

From my experience Calgary does have its own system of status and prejudice, but it isn’t as rigid as a class system. Just my two cents
