Dear Elon,

I just saw the speech you gave on the AfD Parteitag.

Ouch. Why?

Why do you keep doing this? The election is through, there is no need to keep up with this charade. Doing this is really, really bad for our election. No, the AfD is not an option for Germany. All they want to do is to create hate, and anger, and trouble. To show “them” they don’t agree.

Plz tell me that you do not actually believe in the AfD. And if so…. why? If there are other goals you want them to help achieve, let’s talk about it. There are better solutions that do not involve these idiots!

Now, most of it was actually a great speech! This is the speech we need to hear from you! And you’re right about moving beyond our past. But the most important part was missing: We should not forget about the past! We still have to learn from the past, to avoid its mistakes. We cannot let facism happen again. That’s what you should have added!

Regarding the relationship between Germany and Brussels, it’s not that easy. Yes, Europe and its (in)famous regulations. There is a lot of nonsense going on. But also a lot of great things have been achieved with our European project. The Euro as a currency is great. We’re living in the longest period of inter-European peace that has ever occurred. Europe is great. Europe is strong. Europe has to stay strong.

Now, please. Please stop supporting AfD.

It’s bad. It’s bad for us. It’s bad for Tesla and all its employees.

And it’s bad for you personally. You already felt the consequences.

I‘m not sure naval experience (impressive number, though) can be transferred to civil engineering in that case. The required budget and sheer manpower to properly maintain this technology and to actual keep it safe has to be considered. (And that‘s just the economical standpoint.)
