The Bible teaches us to be generous and kind-hearted when we give. It emphasizes the importance of giving cheerfully, as stated in 2 Corinthians 9:7: "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." It also encourages us to help those in need, reminding us in Matthew 25:35-40 that when we help others, it's like we're serving Jesus himself. The blessings from giving come from the act itself, not based on whether the person we’re helping is also a giver.

SATS to GO! is a Bitcoin Ekasi initiated project, sparked by the real-world problem of late arrivals at work.

It is spearheaded by our Project Coordinator, the incredibly talented @ThinusXpressed !!!

SATS to GO! is building a platform for Punctuality Rewards, utilizing the #Bitcoin Lightning Network, from login via LNURL-Auth to receiving SATS via LNULR-Withdraw!

This is a lightning powered solution which can (for example) track employees' attendance at work, but also provide them with incentive to be punctual, rewarded in sats!

And there are many other use cases!

First conceptualized at the @btrust_builders Hackathon, in partnership with the @AfroBitcoinOrg, SATS to GO! was born in late 2023.

Development is continuing, slowly, but steadily, and is being worked on, part-time, by a group of volunteer #African #LightningNetwork developers and BTrust cohorts, who have chosen to work on SATS to GO! as a way to build their Proof-of-Work portfolio.

Just yesterday, I read the saddening reports of how the search for cheap rice claimed the lives of some Nigerians in Lagos. According to the report, a massive crowd of hungry Nigerians had besieged the Zonal Office of the Nigerian Customs Service in Yaba, Lagos,

I once heard a billionaire in dollars say this:

"Son, you could throw 10 things on the wall and 9 falls down while one sticks.

You're 1000 times better than the one who never tried anything at all"

I found that really remarkable.
