Super excited to share our review that's out today!
Here, we have comprehensively reviewed seminal work in the field and highlighted how oxygen-dependent enzymes work in a time-dependent (!) manner.

Our preprint is out! Here, we describe a framework for simulating cf-chromatin using preclinical models, and sequential profiling using WGS (cfMNase-Seq) and cfChIP-Seq for H3K4me3 and H3K27me3. @main_sasha@BratmanLab https://t.co/3scK8cf9Mu
How much of our knowledge of IL-1β explains the rest of the IL-1 family? How much of our knowledge of mouse IL-1 applies to human IL-1? Despite being studied for decades, so much more to learn.
Honoured to receive the Vanier Scholarship! All credit to my mentors who altruistically support me in my academic endeavours. Special thank you to my family & friends for their love & support - research is riddled with highs & lows and I’m grateful for having them through both!
That’s a wrap! This #IRCC2023 was a hit ✨ thanks to the organizers and my supervisor @MKoritzinsky to let me present my work on how redox homeostasis helps in radiosensitizing the TME in PDAC. Fantastic and inspiring talks and speakers! @RRS_RadRes#CancerResearch#cancertherapy
Super proud of Mathepan - he is perhaps one of the most deserving people I know. If you haven't met Mathepan, he is incredibly passionate (about medicine and research) and kind. A heart of gold - no one else deserves this more.
Humbled to receive a #VanierCanada scholarship from @CIHR_IRSC for our work on the heart issues childhood cancer survivors endure! Vanier wouldn't have been possible w/o the people and communities I worked with in Scarborough and Princess Margaret, who inspired me to do an MD/PhD

I thought Limp Bizkit could Break Stuff, but NINJ1 does a pretty good job too. Fascinating study by Broz, Hiller and colleagues explains how NINJ1 breaks cells wide open. Kudos to the authors on this important discovery.

Exciting news! Our paper "Leaked genomic and mitochondrial DNA contribute to the host response to noroviruses in a STING-dependent manner" is now available online @CellReports ! https://t.co/VdMrgrEzs8 #norovirus#immunology#innateimmunity (1/7)
An ancient posttranslational modification controls an innate immune signaling protein. Gasdermin D must be oxidized on cys192 to induce pyroptosis. So proud of my fantastic student Pascal Devant and his co-authors Elvira Boršić & Elsy Ngwa.
