I told a buddy that he can work out of our office
he never showed up so I forgot about it
turns out, for six months, he’s just been showing up to a random other office because I gave him the wrong address, and no one has noticed
Worked with the general public for 40 years and I can confidently assert that 1/3 of people are as thick as shit, 1/3 are nasty pieces of work and 1/3 half sensible and decent. The problem isn't politicians, twitter or right wing newspapers. The problem is people.
Court documents in the prosecution of Derek Chauvin show the public's extreme pressure on prosecutors over George Floyd's death, even when evidence didn't show damage to his neck. Far-left extremists promised bloodshed and terror attacks if Chauvin wasn't convicted. https://t.co/Wh2TQLZhGL
Hello. I’m back. Had to get a new phone as the 6 police who were sent barreling into my house yesterday have taken every electronic device, including my boys iPads. Which is just plain malicious.
I have a lot to say about the last few days.
Speak in a bit.
Never give in.
As I've said before, MRAs are objectively correct about a lot of things they bitch about
But
Encouraging a generation of young men to participate in victimhood status-seeking behavior ("men are victims too!") is such a losing strategy it may as well be considered enemy action
A *very* comprehensive climate and human welfare peer-reviewed article:
"Climate change is real and its impacts are mostly negative, but common portrayals of devastation are unfounded. Scenarios set out under the UN Climate Panel (IPCC) show human welfare will likely increase to 450% of today's welfare over the 21st century. Climate damages will reduce this welfare increase to 434%. "
"Climate policies also have costs that often vastly outweigh their climate benefits. The Paris Agreement, if fully implemented, will cost $819–$1,890 billion per year in 2030, yet will reduce emissions by just 1% of what is needed to limit average global temperature rise to 1.5°C. Each dollar spent on Paris will likely produce climate benefits worth 11¢. "

Infuriating as it must be for people like @Glinner and @HJoyceGender when gigs get cancelled and books removed from libraries, this isn’t actually about their rights, it’s about YOURS.
Authoritarian bullies want to control what YOU are allowed to listen to
