Twenty chapters on vibe coding in 2026.
Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Copilot, and the rest. What each one is good at, what it costs, and what actually ships.

@sattyyouneed Will do they really want to burn AI tokens all weekend and have to fix buggy shit or just use a saas that somebody else can support?
just because you can write, the code doesn’t always mean you should
@alex_atoms The multi-agent harness wave is moving fast. Curious which of these actually stick past the demo.
Sandbox plus multi-agent is the right problem. Most of these still skip the does-it-survive-deploy part.
Githab? (facepalm)
@marouane_souda This is the one check that still catches half the vibe-coded apps I look at.
Browser never sees the secret key. Sounds basic until you open someone's client bundle.
@luckeyfaraday Can't code got it running. Production traffic still doesn't care how it was written.
Classic AI-built arc: ships, gets real users, then the infra lessons arrive all at once.
@darekgusto Fair point. The fundamentals talk hits harder when the feed models the opposite.
Writing without learning the craft is the same trap as shipping without reading the code.
@matthias_mrc Weekend ship is easy. Figuring out if anyone needs it is the hard part.
That gap between built and wanted is where most vibe projects die.
@dreyethh@testmuai@kane_cli@Mayankbhola@Jay_0687@asad0801 The ledger bug is the whole point. AI will finish the task. Something still has to refuse the wrong answer.
Verification before "done" is the missing layer. Shipping the agent without a gate is how $120 becomes $240 in prod.
@rubenssoto_ai Agree. Vibe coding is "make it run." Assisted coding is "make it something you can still change next week."
Different games. One optimizes for the demo. The other optimizes for the Tuesday after launch.
@moshhamedani This is the part people skip when they say they shipped in a weekend. Typing was never the bottleneck. Reviewing the approach is.
Three months with Claude Code and zero hand-written lines still sounds like engineering to me. The review time is the job.
@Palak3312 Everything works until you touch one line is the whole vibe-coded experience. Running is not the same as change-safe.
That is not a codebase. That is a Jenga tower with a happy path.
