@SarahGarry9 @CaoTuition Agree with Sarah, 51cm^2. You could say that because the triangles are identical and the overlapping areas are the same, the blue area is equal to the area of the yellow trapezium: 0.5(10+7)*6=51 (or the rectangle and triangle): 7x6+(0.5x3x6)=51

@mr_englishteach Hi. You could argue that it's a type of isosceles but as one or two have said I agree that it should be outside the circles. Probably an error in the answer section - they do happen!

@moore2_learn Couldn't agree more. This is a real CPD challenge. Being tech savvy is a help but not the answer. Trying to add voice over to ppts, working on videod worked examples, encouraging live chats as much as possible, all, so far, with moderate success. #teacher5oclockclub #mathscpdchat

@DebraDoo65 Our Y10 is doing 'mock' exams! Timed and supposedly under exam conditions. Our Y13 is in limbo. Looking to do Literature at Uni so has a bookshelf to read! However, as of right now, they have not surfaced.

@DebraDoo65 Hi Deb. Yep pretty draining. But it's great CPD and sitting in the garden at about 6pm feeling the sun on your face is so nice. MH vital. Household calm despite another teacher, a Y10 and a Y13 sharing the space! Have a good one.

Highlighted in part by seeing my Y10 daughter starting back in 'virtual school' yesterday. Doesn't necessarily need a knowledge of their curriculum. #mathscpdchat
