@p5k000@zyrkonix@oofdere I guess it makes sense with image/video generation models. LLMs eat literally everything up though, that’s why I thought it could work similarly, just scraping social media for videos/images
@Trivagoski@affaan@moorehn LLM’s are AI. The most basic definition of AI basically says „computational system that do something that’s typically associated with human intelligence” (per Wikipedia). It’s not AI if you believe speaking doesn’t require intelligence. What you’re probably thinking of is an SGAI
@nosferatu_girl uhhh fav is def Hot Rats (mainly cuz of The Gumbo Variations) or This is a Long Drive, least fav is hard as I havent listened to most of the stuff here, i know I dropped listening to Strangers From the Universe but don’t remember why exactly (like The Operation from it though)
@bdawg3003@Slorpler At worst the same 4ms per frame increase? So 120FPS -> 85FPS for example? Doubt the ability causes drops this big for lower FPS, meaning it’s probably rendered ( or whatever ) within the 120FPS 8.3ms frame budget without issue.
@cr_sby_@HochaGraitis@nuhuh2p0@Slorpler Do you believe that people who play at unstable ~60fps just accept the fact that if there’s a Sojourn on the enemy team they’ll get drops to 20fps each time she casts. It’s a 1.6ms->5ms per frame and 16ms->50ms per frame difference, FPS does not work linearly
@Mystic_mane0@RickCabeza@bricericed@KalmPC No, as the glass in the oven heats gradually and evenly, in this case there’s a lot of thermal energy being delivered to the bottom of the pot, none elsewhere other than conduction. Glass containers break mostly due to temperature differences between regions in the material.
@Monstronthhill@Grassdia@BeatrizGietner This stupid fucking diagram and people liking mindlessly. It’s not a statement „Every healthy old person I see walks on the street”, it’s „there are lots of elderly people walking around”. Now whether he comes from an area with lots of old people etc. is a different issue
@Kemmo_Ado@_snow118@DaviMFC I have seen many people, also new players, play MC, but never seen one playing without using the wiki or online resources. Reaching the end is pretty much always never the end, what pains me is people missing out on many amazing mechanics MC has that are for no reason obfuscated.
@Kemmo_Ado@_snow118@DaviMFC Just to be clear, the only part I disagree with you on is bringing up the guy as anecdotal evidence. I believe finding everything out in MC by oneself is of course very much possible but in my eyes a blind playthrough is more akin to a painful challenge, not a regular playthrough
@Kemmo_Ado@_snow118@DaviMFC If you truly believe that the average gamer played those games, your idea of the average gamer is highly skewed. And the average gamer is not the same as an average Minecraft player. Most of my friends are gamers, but they don’t know any of these games.
@Kemmo_Ado@_snow118@DaviMFC Are we sure the adult, who also played Blue Prince, Stanley Parable, Outer Wilds and Talos Principle, is a good representation of an average Minecraft player?
@Kemmo_Ado@_snow118@DaviMFC New players can play and enjoy the game for lots of hours, but its a fact that some mechanics are not explained in-game at all. When starting playing without any outside info, the average player would ignore many blocks/items as finding their use by themselves is very unintuitive
@Kemmo_Ado@_snow118@DaviMFC „It depends on the person beginning to play”
„There’s a someone […], so it’s 100% player (???) friendly”
Amazing logic, thank you for your input
@puritysequencer@Tell_It_Already@unfunnyacc0unt Bro what. You can fully design a game yourself and AI can still help you with stuff like making a working menu, bugfixing, error checking etc. Coding a game is mostly dealing with some shit like something bugging out or not showing properly - AI can help with that, not designing.
