मैं बैंक मैनेजर हूँ मेरी शाखा में मेरे अलावा दो और लोग है.. शाखा में लोन, KYC, डिपॉजिट, रिकवरी, सरकारी योजनाओं के अलावा हर कार्य होता है। रोजाना सुबह के 9:30 से रात के 7:30 बजते है। अब आरबीआई बताए कि सुबह से शाम तक लंच करना है कि नहीं? आखिर बैंकर भी इंसान है भाई हम मशीन नही है।

Your tributes may sound heartfelt, but words alone cannot carry the weight of lives lost. True respect is not expressed in sympathy messages it is reflected in action.
Behind every such tragedy lies a silent buildup of staff shortages, toxic work culture, relentless targets, crushing workloads, and invisible mental stress that often goes unheard.
If we genuinely care, then the focus must shift from mourning after loss to preventing it before it happens. The most meaningful condolences would be creating a system where no banker feels so cornered, so exhausted, or so alone that they see no way out.
Let empathy translate into accountability. Let concern turn into reform.
Because no job should ever cost a life.

When a young banker writes about unbearable pressure, inadequate training, isolation from family, staffing shortages, customer aggression, and a crushing service bond before taking such an extreme step, we must ask:
Did he really lose his life to personal reasons or did a broken system fail him ?
Every such tragedy demands accountability, introspection, and urgent reforms.
Bank employees are not machines.

✔️ Humane transfer policies
✔️ Mental health support
✔️ Review of restrictive service bonds

Transfer affects lives
it is not just a piece of paper .
All of my posts ( facebook ) written here concerning our bank and bank management is shared with MD sir ,with All EDs as well as with HR CGM and other senior officials of HRD HO few are shared with zonal and circle authorities also ..and our MD sir takes those post as feedback from the field .
so yesterday post on frequent transfer of scale 4 officers was shared with all above mentioned authorities and it has immediate all transfer and posting powder of ZO and CO freezed yesterday now they have to seek HO prior permission for transfer and posting from today onwards and rightly so because this power was being misused at CO and ZO level in many places .
those who sign transfer orders for them it is just a piece of paper but that letter affects scores of life as well as our bank also .
that transfer order affects the officer concerned his or her spouse children parents .there is a reason that our bank board has 3 years tenure based transfer policy. if an officer is transferred in month of May after one year of stay then imagine how his or her children will get a school at new place because getting admission in a school is very costly it costs rs lakh and upwards. then the question of adjusting with school arises for the children .frequent change of schools affect child education adversely .then if spouse is working then you have to get your spouse transfer to new place another herculean task .
in this context i remember one of my interaction with kamath sir our ex CMD .he used to give normally every senior officers 3 years stay .once one SRM was not delivering well in a region i requested him to change that SRM .Kamath sir said big no he said that SRM is underperforming deliberately so I transfer him to HO .I will not do that whether you perform well or badly I normally give 3 years to all senior officers only in case of corruption ororal terpitude he will effect pre mature transfer.thise were his golden words and he stuck to those words largely .
I will be requesting our MD sir to order an audit of all transfer posting done at CO and ZO level in last 3 years to know how many premature transfer done sometime just to satisfy ego of transferring authorities.
i will conclude this post with thanks to all those authorities who ensured a communication from HO SMR freezing transfer power of ZO and CO yesterday.hope this will ensure sanity and stability in the field and people will focus now more on business growth.
