Which led to issues regarding AI data center citing and permitting. And on to data center operations and economics. And finally to AI corporate strategies.
What a time to be alive.
Love working with @Grok. Had an informative conversation that started with impact of birth rate on the Chinese economy and AI growth. Which morphed into risks to US security and economy posed by potential weaponization of Chinese AI.

@grok I was hesitant to spend the $$$ for the upgrade to Heavy, but it was worth it. I’ll probably downgrade once I’ve finished my project, but no worries.
My thoughts on @Grok build mode after playing with it for a few hours today. I’ll start by saying my coding experience is limited to some Fortran stuff in college in the ‘80s the writing basic excel macros and custom functions in other apps. But that was 20 years ago.
I decided to work on a custom fantasy football app over he weekend using the prompt in Grok, and after a few hours had something workable, but not practical.
Third, there should be an option to “end session” which automatically generates a recovery prompt with a note to save in case the sandbox gets cleared or the conversation gets lost
I reran the recovery prompt and had my prototype back up in a few minutes.
In general, this is super easy to use. While my app is only meant for my own use, I could see how someone with more coding experience could easily produce a commercial app in a short amount of time.
I think a couple things could be improved that might help less experienced users. First, the process to pin a Build Mode conversation needs to be more intuitive. I couldn’t figure out how to do it. Second, the location of the published app needs to be retained or emailed or something so you don’t have to know to copy the link. At the very least, there should be a notation for n big red letters to COPY THIS LINK. When you publish.
@TouringPlans I’ve done a number of VIP tours over the years and I would say they are anything but exhausting. No security, no lines, park hopping without busses, go to a park for one ride then on to the next , hotel pickup and drop off! Who could ask for more!
