Elon's long offloaded all of the planning and execution to his c suite and god class PMs following his biggest mistakes he makes every time he gets involved, and so now pits all of his time on his image to absorb the credit in the eyes of fools.
I wish the first trillionaire wasn't someone somehow incredibly stupid enough to be wrong more than 50% of the time on any given statement and lose all of the personal bets theyve made with friends and employees and lashes out at them whenever it's brought up.
@PeterBrady__@JonathanKimXD@Control_wiz Agreed in a sense but the problem is what follows the words "a lot of what we see" is anecdotal and may be a naive perspective shared from those that haven't seen enough. Experts differ in perspective from the public in many things like sodium-ion batteries & logistical drones
@rossium Within 60 seconds it's a little under a 90% chance of falling, odds of falling increasing every second. Risk of ruin is how so many advantage players lose despite having an edge.
@xIlGreylIx Sextortion is common right now just underreported for obvious reasons. Usually they "buy" them or trick victim into installing malware where they get them, and it's usually just for power + selling videos of victims crying on call to creeps on telegram.
@VariedAttire@micsolana Agreed with regards to mosquitos, but ticks on the other hand are an expendable strain and ecologic destabilizer everybody in both isles (except the naive) want to remove. Unfortunately eradicating them is currently thought to be impossible.
@mayne5225@spaceghosttwerk@redaction What would you prefer everyone calls someone that fucks freshman highschool girls with parental issues and pays a few grand in hush money for people to remove evidence of it from the internet that doesn't hit your reddit bingo
@svarncapital@jeremybernier I work for a nearly identical structure in a similar fortune 500, even when the problem is small enough to fix and localized to a team, the forces resistant to legal press and change are far greater. You essentially get PIP'd regardless of performance then canned.
@HMoonCrab@EricParker These often go undetected for months at a time or indefinitely. Sadly there is no good static malware detection. Linux users can use flatpak or run with firejail, windows users sort of have sandboxie but its free version wouldn't have stopped this bc it doesn't restrict user dir.
@TemmieTechTips@EricParker The current steam precautions will not stop any enterprise modern malware, but there is nothing they can reasonably do without creating an active EDR or their own sandbox for games to run beneath.
@TemmieTechTips@EricParker Time based PL can work if specific enough to not be iterated through in a sandbox. Some sandboxes will rapidly increase the time&date to check for this. Unfortunately there is no good static malware detection. Steam Games are not currently a targeted supply chain but may change.
@NorthernIion_LP He's right except that the game punishes you for going over the goal. If you made 50k, the next goal will be proportionate around 60k for example, not just slightly above the current goal, so cashing out only barely above the goal is ideal.
