VIDEO | Delhi: Chamber Of Trade & Industry (CTI) chairman Brijesh Goyal, who is playing role of Meghnad in Ramleela by Lav Kush Ramleela Committee, says: "I have been performing in Luv Kush Ramleela for the past six years, playing different roles. For three consecutive years, I played the role of Angad. This year, I will be playing the role of Ravana's son, Meghnad. My father performed the role of Meghnad in Jaipur for 25 years, so I am inspired by him. My biggest effort will be that when people watch me on stage, they should not see Brijesh Goyal; they should only see Meghnad. I will try my best to completely immerse myself in the role of Meghnad."

Ganesh Chaturthi is the time for celebration, but it is also a time to think about the environment. In recent years, there has been a growing trend towards using eco- friendly materials to make ganpati Idols.

was doing some meditating and revisiting life pre-crypto
realized that back then, life was simple and "smaller" - i didn't know how big the world was, how much opportunities were out there, how large one could grow
in some ways, that was a simpler and happier time. i do believe that social media today exposes people to far too much - and thus they start feeling unhappy with what they have
last time, you would just be confined to your own village and that would be it. now, i think the challenge is being exposed to all of this, but still being happy with what you have.
analogy: you have the girl next door as your first love in your small town, unknown of the world out there. you go to LA, you see all the influencers, hot girls, models, and you ditch your girl for greener pastures. a few years pass and you realise it's the same, you would have been better off with your first girl
what makes you happy comes from within, not from outside
So basically it’s always been assumed that technological advancements are disinflationary because it reduces the amount of people/labor/energy needed to solve a problem or produce marginally greater amounts of goods etc
But recent technological advancements are actually inflationary because methodologies for valuing these new companies basically doesn’t exist, and the investor or consumer is being passed on the anticipated costs for a decade of development, upfront
So you have people spending more and more money in a race to then capture more and more of the market capital and become a schelling point not only for monetary capital but also ideological capital as modern capitalism has become a black hole of funding and rising energy costs?
Which then drags up the prices and costs of all other assets and goods as people left on the sidelines shove every dollar available into speculative assets because bonds are a scam with persistent inflation, so there’s not much incentive to lend money (buy bonds) which then causes yields to stay high which drives business cost higher which raises prices and asset prices etc etc
So because of this the entire world market is functioning on a single risk curve and we’ve gotten to the point where part of the world is starting to believe that crypto is one of the escape hatches from the persistently inflationary existence being lived by the non asset owners
The trump family has also talked about being debanked, leading to their original bullishness on crypto, and trump himself has chattered about the significance of crypto with regards to USD global dominance
In short, maybe this is what a supercycle feels like
