Sometimes I wonder when Google comes out with further qualifications on links, and says well it's a nice to have and it's to help search... could that "nice to have" be enforced with tougher algorithm scrutiny.
So when there's testing done on these theories I perk!

That algo update over the weekend had a phenomenal write up by @Marie_Haynes
Check your sites and backlink audits, this one seems to be affected by link quality.
If your site was affected but not by links, Marie's taking DMs which is incredibly nice but also thorough testing.👌🏽

OOof that's a bold move. Apparently this has been around since 2015 (@bill_slawski) but this competes directly with @ubereats.

For Australia, tested this on desktop, mobile but it's yet to hit our SERPs. This is another example of Googs moving to monopolise.
