The biggest gear reduction in the universe. The first gear needs to turn a googol amount in order to let the last gear turn once. A number that's bigger than the atoms in the known universe. 100 gears with a 10 to 1 reduction. @Google@GoogleNL
@ColeWalsh19 @RaTTman77@engineers_feed just wondering, the outer diameter of the gear is 150mm. how many times does it break the lightspeed when its turning so fast?
@RaTTman77@engineers_feed@daniel_bruin in order to make the final “slow wheel” turn just one trillionth of a turn by spinning the first “fast wheel” a trillion times every trillionth of a second then it would take 3.17x10^42 trillion years. I kept trying to add trillionth stages to get down to a fathomable number
@RaTTman77@engineers_feed Not really :( there is always some slop in the gears. So the last gear will never move. But in a perfect theoretical world yes it moves!
