@Angry_Staffer That website needs work. I've unfollowed a couple people on here when they shared links to that site. My feed was full of nondescript links and a generic "Post" image. It got annoying real fast.

Even if they started hiring for new engineers, they won't be able to fill the roles. The more staff they alienate and let go, the worse off they're going to be in the long run. The company is dead.

@troyhunt @tuyasmart @home_assistant @Frenck As I understand it, Tuya are not interested in supporting anything outside of their ecosystem. They've even gone so far as to change from using ESP's to a custom chip to stop third party firmware from being used. Local Tuya project is about as close as it gets these days.

@markwalker_ I used to have an old Cisco router to play with. It could support my line speed ~40mb, but if I enabled the VPN functions, that dropped to just under 10mb. It both does and doesn't surprise me that the USG slows down when it's asked to do things it's designed for.
