After 34 years with dermatologist Dr Len Nel, his advice is simple: ☀️ Stay out of the sun when your shadow is shorter than you are, 🧴 use sunscreen early, and 👨⚕️ get a skin check every 6 months.
Trying hard not to look like me! 😂

This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

They steal the parts. Then sell it back to the City. Then your lights go out. Then you pay for the “repairs.”
This is the circuit breaker mafia. Watch the full video to see what the DA will do to deal with this issue!⚡️

Day 48 of walking from Durban to Cape Town to fund my Harvard education and advocate for solutions to South Africa's housing crisis.
Yesterday, I got caught in a brutal storm. The police helped me to safety, the Heidelberg Hotel showed incredible hospitality, and kind strangers reminded me that this journey is about more than kilometres.
Today brought new challenges, but also new hope.
1,000km down. The mission continues.

68 Dogs Removed from Farningham Ridge Property, Durban:
Durban Metro Police and the SPCA conducted a court-authorised animal welfare operation at a property on Lincoln Road in Farningham Ridge following allegations of bylaw and animal welfare violations.
Officials found 68 dogs on the property, all of which were removed by the SPCA for assessment and care.
The operation forms part of ongoing efforts to enforce animal welfare regulations and protect animals within eThekwini.
Police said they remain committed to working with partner agencies to safeguard both public and animal welfare.
A Back-a-Buddy campaign has been launched to buy a Coffee machine for W/O Sander. I think it is worth contributing to, someone earlier said i one of the posts, even a supply of coffee beans would be nice. 🙏🏽😊❤️

Let's support a good man. He deserves to know his service to our country is highly appreciated. It may not make up for the pain and suffering, but at least he will know that South Africans care and we support him. ❤️🇿🇦

It seemed far fetched when I said that I was removed from the position of the head of Hawks in Gauteng when I was about to arrest a Nigerian drug dealer in December 2016. In that operation we arrested two of our own Hawks members in December 2016 who were conniving with the drug dealer. I was transferred to a ‘graveyard’ division in SAPS and began in January 2019.
Backed by unscrupulous media houses and NGOs, the dark forces within law enforcement had all along unleashed the IPID, the Office of the Judge of the DPCI, the NPA and internal disciplinary processes and concocted lie detector test. I was quite overwhelmed by the onslaught and my psychiatrist said that was too much to withstand I that I better leave, and so I resigned, and took early pension.
When officers like W/O Sanders, #GeneralMkhwanazi testify at the #MadlangaInquiry my heart melts because I know the script, I have experienced it. It is just interesting that the players and characters are somewhat connected.
The People’s House has stood for 226 years. America hits its 250th birthday next month. Instead of dignity or reflection, we get this sad, trashed-out mess right on the lawn.
One photo that screams what he’s done to this great nation.
Today I left Riversdale overwhelmed with gratitude.
When I started walking from Durban to Cape Town, it was because my aunt passed away while waiting for a government-promised house. I wanted to raise awareness for the millions of South Africans who are still waiting for a safe place to call home.
What I didn't expect was what this journey would teach me about South Africa.
This morning, as I walked out of Riversdale, people lined the streets waving, cheering, and wishing me well. Many spoke Afrikaans. I speak isiZulu. Yet somehow we understood each other perfectly.
Because hope doesn't need a translator.
For 48 days, I have been welcomed by strangers, invited into homes, fed by families, and encouraged by people from every background imaginable.
If you only consumed headlines, you might think South Africa is defined by division. My experience has been the opposite.
A Zulu boy from KwaMashu being embraced by a predominantly Afrikaans town is not the story we're often told about this country, but it's the story I've been living.
Yes, inequality remains one of our greatest challenges. Yes, the legacy of apartheid still determines who is most vulnerable when the storms come.
But I have also learned that there are millions of South Africans who want a better future for one another.
People who are willing to care.
People who are willing to help.
People who still believe in us.
Thank you, Riversdale.
Thank you for reminding me that the South Africa I dream about is not a fantasy. It is real. I have walked through it, one step at a time. 🇿🇦❤️

I am thoroughly fed up with Old Mutual's f*ing automated spam calls. I've registered with WASPA - which doesn't seem to be a deterrent.
After receiving this constant harassment who would ever invest in ANY service from @OldMutualSA ?
Union boss Irvin Jim @Numsa_media drives a R5million BMW, stays in a luxury apartment, but feels free to question the class interest of those who advocate power sector reform and investment to ensure energy supply security and competitive prices 🙄 https://t.co/vBqwHs3EGe
