Is it just me who reads popular books "by psychologists" and thinks they all sound more or less the same in their chatty, friendly, gee-whiz-meets-kumbaya style? I wonder how many of them are almost entirely ghostwritten?
I have resigned from @uniofleicester. I was not at risk of redundancy. I have not been through the awful process that our colleagues had to endure, but I have experienced more than a glimpse of the lack of care, lack of interest, lack of human touch and lack of intellectualism
@howbrainsevolve@matthewcobb@edyong209 IMO, the problem with saying the brain "is a computer" is the same as with saying I "am a runner". I sometimes run (if someone has hit a ball). It's one thing I do. But it's a misleading label as an identity relation.
