@random_walker @GaryMarcus I always questioned dimensionality reduction methods like PCA (SOM, UMAP, t-SNE). They may be useful in general, but break down in many cases. I prefer rank-by-feature methods that highlight specific clusters, gaps, outliers, correlations, and other features/patterns.

US market commentators talk about inflation as a “self fulfilling prophecy” like it’s some made up thing. It’s not a prophecy or a fantasy. Inflation is a real world economic *process* that plays out over time. $7-8 dollar per gallon gas in Europe has been the norm for years.
