@RobinPakeman That's a really useful long-term study Robin, thanks for sharing. I'm in the process of trying to diversify an area once dominated by dense rosebay willowherb by cutting twice a year. We are planting native trees as a longer term treatment so will see how it goes #noreplication

I didn't realise quite how much peat is used in UK mushroom production. Thanks goodness funding is in place to explore alternative production methods. Continuing to use peat like this is not an option. @innovateuk
