So 70-80% of VO2 max is genetic only 20-30% can be gained by training your heart. Can you please explore this with Professor Derave.
@SportimCoach@StephenSeiler This is great work. Stephen you need to interview Frank and Charles. I cannot believe this has not become mainstream yet. Takes some time to go over the website and book but once understood it is brilliant. Frank & Charles Super cycle is great but you need a Garmin app!
@pkedrosky Anaerobic monster here - wow.. Normally you would say VO2 is the limiting factor as there is no room to move anaerobic threshold higher in this person. But not the case for a 50yo with a number over 60! Extremely fit for explosive work but definitely not for endurance work. Z2!!
