@RayleighJeans@wattTime Sorry. I cherry picked the lower end of the 1-6 TWh range. Midpoint of 3.5 TWh would require a ~10x increase in capacity. Seems possible?
Love seeing gravity batteries gaining traction. 100MWh capacity is a good start but a lot more is needed at full industrial scale, but this feels like something that could scale easily and not rely on rare earth metals https://t.co/M8VJL04brX
@RayleighJeans@wattTime 1-6 TWh is roughly 10k of these 100MWh facilities, but it isn't far off from the 3400 fossil fuel plants in the US today. You'd only have to triple the storage capacity (larger weight + height) to replace fossil fuel plants with gravity battery facilities. 🤩
@RayleighJeans@wattTime Yeah, one of the reasons this solution is so neat is that it doesn't require being close to a source of water with displaced reservoirs.
@TehAbstraCt Hey. I've been on vacation the past 3 weeks and was slammed leading up to it. I'll do my best to merge in your PR when I'm back in front of my computer, hopefully some time next week or two
@ekeneijeoma I'm curious about the scale of the circles. Are the areas proportional to the number of refugees by origin/asylum country? Or are you also normalizing for the population in those countries?
Wordle definitely feels like it has gotten harder since NYT took over, which begs the question: what makes one Wordle harder than another? Obscure words? Rare letter combinations?

@hspter I'm with you. I think it's gotten harder after NYT change, which makes me wonder what data NYT might be bringing to bear on how words are selected. Rare words? Uncommon letter combinations? Something else?
to say i'm humbled by this post is an understatement! thank you for sharing - i am truly honored. @JamalSLewisPhD and i were young @FAMU_1887 rattlers studying chemical engineering, and to see how far we have come is amazing. #BlackHistoryMonth
