@buildkata and I connected in the #claudecode community channel and had a great back and forth on how we were using claude code. So figured it would be fun to re-hash live over a twitter space. Anyone is welcome and we are just going to jam on some of the not so obvious ways we are using cc.

For the last 4 months we have been logging every Claude Code, Cowork and https://t.co/daZf9wJ4Ok session to a central data repository and built an MCP server on top of it. We use the claude OTEL connector and custom hooks for when data is not available by default.
With the MCP server, every claude code session can talk to any other session across time. I can ask how other coworkers solved similar problems, or what our UI team would do in this situation. We started deploying it in clients environment and they start to ask claude how other analysts on their team modeled a similar name in their coverage. It has started to really snowball.
But then we started running agents to summarize sessions and find trends. We now have a system that automatically identifies which skills we need that don't exist yet and auto create them based off what users are saying. We have frustration detection for new users and we know when they have issues before they tell us. All this just happens automatically. It is getting really fun.
@ollama@romoh If we use the anthropic marketplace to distribute plug-ins like skills and agents, is it also compatible with how those files are accessed locally?
@_catwu@noahzweben Get better usage tracking of skills when in desktop, mobile and web via API! Compliance api does not include this and the only way to access is being primary owner of account and getting the email download manually.
I ran cc sdk in an overnight job with 20 sessions in parallel to crawl 5 SQLServer hosts, airflow logs, and source code. I used sub agents, several custom clis (no mcp), stored output in kuzu knowledge graph. Enterprise client. INCREDIBLE RESULTS. $2,600 in credits WELL spent
It’s been a big week for Claude Code.
We launched 8 exciting new features to help devs build faster and smarter.
Here's a roundup of everything we released:
@virattt@gumloop@langchain What are your thoughts on gumloop vs n8n? I can self host n8n so have been experimenting more with that. Any killer features u see gumloop has?
@MSUEconomics@MSU_SocSci@hedgineering It was a blast putting this endowment together with the MSU department and Eli. If there are any MSU Econ students interested in finance and programming, you should definitely apply for this scholarship. It not only comes with $$ but Eli and I will work with you on your career!
@BreakingSaaS@FundamentEdge@BreakingSaaS yeah this was a fun episode. One of my favorite data points (not AI related) is BAM had 19 engineers and data scientist transition onto desks in 2023. That’s such a hard pipeline to develop bc engineering and fundamental investing can be worlds apart.
💯 days since joining @Diageo_NA Ventures to help grow VC & @DistillVentures. While uncommon to pivot from a decade+ in tech to consumer, I've picked up some key learnings applicable in any industry - whether alcohol, startup, tech, consumer.
@raymondh Sys.path, BUT ask them to see how sys.path works by looking at what’s already inside it. They notice the start directory, python location, among others. Teach them that in order to import a module, the path needs to be in this list. Then explain PYTHONPATH from this context.
@austincampbell Every crypto CEX is a custodian, clearing house and exchange. Technically they could offer the same for stocks N bonds. However what stopped them from offering tradfi products were regs, which CEX’s tied to sidestep. That didn’t work and EDX seems to be a pragmatic solution.
@krugermacro From a BTC bear perspective this is a good thing. He brushed off concerns of instability in the banking sector and all but 1 FOMC member still expects at least another 25bps hike. Those two bull narratives driving markets for last 2 weeks seemed to dissipate.
