New moms: don’t let this make you feel bad when it doesn’t work out perfectly. Baby comes when baby knows it’s right. No amount of tea and dates will change that! Remember that when your babe’s lungs are ready to breathe, that’s typically when you’ll go into labor, so no rush.
Telling every pregnant girl I know who's planning on having a natural unmediated birth to eat pineapples, dates, drink red raspberry leaf tea, and walk a lot to prepare/ soften your cervix, I did this and I was only in labor for 30 minutes, got my baby out in ONE push and didn't rip at all,
I was up walking a hour after giving birth.
.@SecKennedy: "I've always promised I'm not going to take people's vaccines away from them... Everybody who wants them can get all of the vaccines that were on the old schedule... We released guidelines that we think are optimal to public health."
Jesus H Christ, people cannot see nuance in the medical field. Please for the love of god people who are replying to this: read a vaccine insert, read the difference between vaccine testing standards and medication testing standards, understand doctors are not scientists!
You can think vaccines are bad and then also want to see a doctor if you’re septic.
Both things can be true. Why does everything have to be so “one side or the other”??
people who talk about eating and calories a lot during the holiday season make me feel like my soul is being crushed in a hydraulic press. i know your friends and family aren’t willing to say it to you so i will: shut up
I used to be absolutely obsessed with dogs. No matter what breed I’d pet them and love on them whether I knew them or not. Until I got bit in the face by a yellow lab. Now I’m hesitant about any dog, especially now that I have a baby.
I had a 130lb Cane Corso.
Raised him from a puppy—expensive dog with champion bloodline, professionally trained for two months on site, amazing temperament and awesome companion to my toddlers.
When he was 4, I went to lay with him on the floor and pet him, he bit me in the face and stood over me with this hair sticking up growling at me.
I got up slowly and he started tracking me around the house.
Last time I'll own a dog that could easily kill me.
