Five complaints later, the hazardous road condition outside Mansukh Niwas Building, 11th Khetwadi Back Road, Mumbai 400004 remains unresolved after Mahanagar Gas pipeline work.

⚠️ Road excavation left unrepaired ⚠️ Uneven surface causing two-wheeler accidents ⚠️ Daily inconvenience to residents and vehicles ⚠️ Serious danger for pedestrians, senior citizens and children ⚠️ Increased risk during monsoon and nighttime

Repeated reminders have been ignored. Residents are questioning why a basic road restoration work has still not been completed despite multiple complaints and public tagging.

If an accident occurs due to this negligence, responsibility will lie with the concerned authorities and contractors.

Immediate inspection and permanent road restoration are urgently required.

However, simply stating that MGL has paid reinstatement charges to the Municipal Authority does not absolve MGL of its responsibility towards public safety and proper restoration of the road after excavation work.

Citizens should not be forced to suffer due to coordination issues between MGL and the Municipal Authority. If MGL has collected and paid reinstatement charges, then MGL should actively follow up with the concerned authorities and ensure that the road is restored promptly and safely.

The road remains in a dangerous condition, creating inconvenience, traffic obstruction, vehicle damage, and a serious accident risk for pedestrians and motorists. Passing responsibility from one department to another is not an acceptable solution.

We request MGL to coordinate with the concerned BMC officers immediately and provide a definite timeline for complete road restoration. Public safety must be treated as a priority, not as an administrative formality.

Kindly take urgent corrective action before a serious accident occurs.

The new road construction on Nanu Bhai Desai Road is incomplete. The corner connecting 2nd Carpenter Street has not been properly joined to the main road, leaving a dangerous hole and uneven surface.

This is a serious safety hazard for pedestrians, senior citizens, two-wheelers, and vehicles. An accident can occur at any time.

Kindly inspect the site urgently and ensure proper leveling, quality road finishing, and permanent repairs before the monsoon.

The gutter outside 3, Mulji Niwas, 2nd Carpenter Street, Mumbai - 400004 is completely clogged with garbage and has not been cleaned for over a year. With the monsoon approaching, this poses a serious risk of waterlogging, mosquito breeding, foul smell, and public health hazards.

Despite repeated negligence, no action has been taken. Immediate cleaning and desilting of the gutter is urgently required before the rains begin.

Citizens should not have to wait for a crisis before basic civic maintenance is carried out.
