@MalcolmClark77 @HeavyG2000 The majority of households in the area has has a car because the provision of public transport is not great in combination with the step hills.
@RezinaChowdhury You are a clear example of a politician ignoring the views of your local constituents that oppose your incompetent and divisive schemes, you are feeding the culture wars. Hypocrite is what you are!
@nashpriory@Adespoto3@jonburkeUK Correct a bit like a cult that cannot accept that their coercive schemes and ideology affects not only car users but children going to school, public transport users, disabled persons.
@peterwalker99 Oh dear two articles in favour of LTNs in a single day! You should do proper journalism and investigate about the reality in Oxford or what happened in Streatham (you had nearly 5 months). Your bias is off the charts
@emeritusbgguru @Jen_Gooner@MalcolmClark77 @emeritusbgguru you need to accept the LTN you supported has made things worst for the majority in the community, the way it was was far from perfect but better than what has happened since 23rd October.
@CricklewoodMum@MicheleRagusa6 Sorry for hurting your feelings @CricklewoodMum. X is a public forum and hopefully you can take comments with a pinch of salt. I still think waiting for drivers to stop driving is a pie in the sky! And LTNs expect behavioural change by coercion which I do not respect.
@CricklewoodMum@MicheleRagusa6 Wow a patronising response from
a change behaviour manager. LTNs do not educate just force a theory with so many flaws on practice. School streets are fine. However LTNs affect whole communities, creating extra pollution and extra danger to cyclists like me.
@EricEatsPickles@lucullus @MattWil53803742 @_wearepossible Thatโs a bit of a silly comparison, Jamaica Road is better served by public transport , Bermondsey, Canada Water, sadly Streatham does not have a tube station and is not as central. I cycle to work but not everyone can or wants to, therefore LTN not the solution for this area
@paulgannonbike@ReconnectingOx There is no lobby, the LTN in Streatham is simply not working as has ruined the public transport, made cycling more dangerous and pollution levels increase, unfortunately there is no tube in the area and is hilly.
