@JanosFHunyadi Do you think they release this information to contribute to the data collection these companies need to have on how much we consume their content at what time, and at specific places?
@DavidMcGre Do you think the reason we rely on apps so much lowers our guard for security breaches such as this? An app actively collecting data on our location solely based on the fact that it makes every day chores, easier to manage is incredibly upsetting!
@TylerJBrown10 I was wondering if according to apple, an app must ask for permission to use your location, but often the relevance of the location is not needed for the app to function, could this be an indicator that more apps are gaining knowledge of our locations without our knowing?
One of the top apps in my industry of graphic design is "Behance" an online portfolio app that allows other graphic deisgners to post their work and earn a reputation by the multitude of people sharing, and viewing their work. https://t.co/DAimaUaqT5
Throughout many generations, the dependency of simple, every day tasks are replaced by the dependency of apps, and the reliance the new generations have on the apps instead of the distrust older generations may have. https://t.co/PK5qMwod6z
The New York Times article, Your Apps Know Where You Were Last Night, and They’re Not Keeping It Secret." the point of how when asked to share your location, others are completely made unaware of the level of privacy being breached to others in doing so.
An interesting comparison in Katie Davis and Howard Gardner's article, "Are apps becoming a human crutch?" is the reference to the 1932 dystopian classic, "Brave New World" and how we're "almost there" in terms of reliance on addictive substances (apps) and the human race.
@zoeakobell I agree how electronic voting was a huge risk but it helped impact the election in a way that hey didn't only depend on those who could vote in person, and considered the votes of the ones at home.
@SusiMaldonado9 I also agree that being silent is a lot safer in most circumstances, however I do see why most people turn to violence in the second one as it easier to react to emotions than to work through them.
@DanielK15147 I am intrigued about your stance on this, as you put into perspective how people were being ridiculed nonbeing silent during the 2020 election and I do agree in that case.
This helps me put the two types of approaches through different perspectives, and how to go about these two different branches, and helps put in perspective the pros and cons of each. #Digital_Identiy and #EME4390002
Politics are not specifically made for those who contribute to the economy of the American currency, such as the term "wealth means power". Everyone is included involved. #Digital_Identiy and #EME4390002
Because of the increase of social media, people have noticed an increase in this saying a lot, I feel, and on a personal level, seeing the interaction of people online has helped me solidify this statement. #Digital_Identiy and #EME4390002
