Lesson learned. Buy your ticket to the conference before you buy your airfare and hotel....in case there are no more tickets.

My advice to all the people trying to enter the cyber security field. Keep applying (even if someone says they will hire you) until you have signed a contract. Lots of people will say they will hire you. Very few will send over the employment contract.
