This is @easyJet’s official policy: disabled people are not permitted to fly unaccompanied. Is there a concession for this *mandatory* companion ticket? No. It’s either pay double, or don’t fly at all. I fail to see how this is not in breach of the Equality Act.

@VirginTrains Thank you, we alerted the station at the time but I appreciate you following up with them as platform staff said they were aware but nothing was mentioned when we made our presence known at the entrance. It is the platform 1-5 lift that is saying 'car requiring reservice'.

You need to sort out your announcement system to alert when the lifts are out at your stations @VirginTrains. If I hadn't been with my husband who was able to help me get to the platform via your very steep ramps at Crewe, I would now be late for work.

Having spent the past two days in Amsterdam, I am reminded how much further the @nationalrail needs to change to be accessible. Assessible doesn't mean offering assistance, it means adapting so the disabled user can use the service in the same way abled-bodied people do!

It was a pleasant surprise to see a disabled accessible family room at Gloucester services complete with extra small toilet and changing table at low level. #ChangingPlaces toilet also available. Such a nice change to see #disabledparents facilities being supplied.
